SHIPPING

All packages are shipped via USPS First Class, unless weighing over 13 oz. In this case, they’ll be shipped USPS Priority.

Orders generally ship within 2-3 business days of purchase.

An email notification is sent with a tracking number, as soon as your item is packaged and ready to ship.

Note: Tracking info may take 1-3 days to appear on the USPS web site. International shipments cannot always be tracked after they have left the US.

New York State residences will have a 4% sales tax added to their order during checkout.

 

RETURNS + EXCHANGE POLICY

I love happy customers and I want you to love your yarn! If you are not completely satisfied with your order, email me (contact@voolenvineyarns.com) with in 7 days of delivery to request a refund. I do not offer exchanges at this time.

Yarn must be returned in the condition that it was received. Yarn that is caked, missing a label, damaged or soiled will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs may apply. Voolenvine Yarns is not responsible for International return shipping costs.

SHIPPING FAQ

 

Q: I placed multiple orders. Can you combine them to save me the extra shipping costs?

A: Due to the high volume of orders we receive each week, the additional shipping costs for multiple orders cannot be refunded. 

 

Q: I received a shipment notification, but when I check the tracking info on the USPS website, there is no data. Where is my stuff?

A: When you receive a shipment notification, your item has been packaged and stamped. It will be collected by the post office later or the following day.

Please allow 1-3 days for tracking info to appear on the USPS website. Unfortunately, orders being shipped internationally cannot be tracked after they have left the US.

 

Q: I placed an order from outside the US. Can you mark my package as a “gift” so I can save on customs fees?

A: Legally, all international orders must be marked as “merchandise”.

The buyer is responsible for shipping costs and additional fees and taxes.

Q: What happens if my package was lost or stolen?

A: Once a package leaves my studio and is in the hands of the United States Postal Service or an international mail carrier, it becomes their responsibility to ensure delivery to the address you provided.

Voolenvine Yarns cannot be held responsible for packages that are deemed lost, stolen, or delivered to the wrong address.

If you have inquiries about the status of your package after it enters the mail system (refer to the tracking number), please get in touch with USPS or your local post office.

If you suspect your package is lost or stolen, you must initiate a missing mail inquiry and/or file a lost package claim with USPS. These can both be done on USPS.com: find missing mail or file a claim.

For large orders, I strongly recommend opting for the $5.00 USD shipping insurance during checkout. This insurance covers the full value of your order and ensures that in the event of a lost or missing package, you'll be eligible for a refund or replacement. 

If you're placing multiple orders on the same day, you only need to add the fee once. Although I'm unable to adjust or refund shipping costs, multiple orders will be consolidated into a single shipment.

 Q: Oops! I provided the incorrect shipping address. 

A: The customer assumes responsibility for any mistakes made entering the shipping address. If you provided the incorrect shipping address, please email me immediately to let me know. Once a package has been shipped, there is nothing I can do. You may contact the USPS with your tracking number an attempt to intercept the package. 

 

Q: I received the wrong or missing item. Now what?

A: While I'm very thorough when it comes to packaging, mistakes happen. Please contact me immediately and I will work to correct your order at no extra cost to you. 

 

*** INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ ***

All outgoing international packages must be marked as “merchandise”. 

Customers ordering from outside of the United States are responsible for the payment of any international customs fees, taxes, and charges that may apply. Please review your post office and customs policies.

If for whatever reason you are unsatisfied with your order and would like to return it for a refund, depending on the nature of the situation, return shipping costs/fees may apply. 

***  UK/EU CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ***

Orders to the UK/EU are shipped via UPS and marked DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid). This means that the recipient pays all customs, duties, fees, and taxes (including VAT) after their package has arrived in the destination country. In this scenario, local customs will contact the recipient, who must pay any outstanding charges before their goods are released for final delivery.

I strive to get your orders shipped out as quickly as possible. Once your order enters the postal system, International  delivery times can vary due to factors beyond my control, such as delays, customs clearance processes in your country, etc. I appreciate your patience and understanding.
